New Member of the Family: Ohio Style

The Cathedral Stone Products traveling duo of John C. Biehl (Regional Sales Director) and Michael Liguori (Technical Sales Manager) drove through a blizzard and ended up in Wellston, Ohio.

Okay, it wasn’t an accident. They were invited by Buckeye Construction & Restoration to run a 2-day Jahn Certification Workshop. A touch of presentation and a lot of hands-on training. The workshop consisted of 11 crew members, including project managers, foremen, and laborers.

“We had a nice mix of seasoned professionals, some new faces to the group and one young lady, Rachel Hershberger, who is new to the masonry restoration business and proved to be a real all-star”, said Biehl. All in all, the crew members put forth a top-notch effort and produced some of the best patches we’ve seen.

A special thanks goes out to Bob Brown (President), Rob Martin (VP) and the rest of the Buckeye staff for inviting Cathedral Stone Products to help train a first class operation.

“It’s easy to see why BCR is at the top of their game and why they are expanding during these unprecedented times of Covid. They know what their biggest asset is — their employees. Investing in training now just shows that they’re thinking about the future and how they want to keep their team active and ready.” said Biehl.

Not only was the workshop educational, but the entire team at BCR and CSP had a blast working together. This type of commitment from BCR, bringing the training to their staff, just shows that they take seriously the work of masonry restoration and preserving our nations historic treasures.
