First “Hands-On” Happy Hour

A special thank you goes out to Premier Building Restoration in Glenside, PA for hosting the first Hands-On Happy Hour with Cathedral Stone Products’ Jahn Restoration Mortars.

The workshop was held at the BQ Basement Systems headquarters (PBR’s sister company) located in the historic, fully-restored Pump House Inn in Erdenheim, PA.

Learning and libations went hand-in-hand with a fine group of architects, specifiers, and students as John Biehl (CSP) and Chris Hertz (PBR) presented the value and benefits of using proper water repellents and potassium silicate coatings on historic restoration projects. Michael Liguori, CSP’s technical sales rep, got everyone’s hands dirty with a Hands-On Jahn mortar repair patch lesson.

A huge Thank You! goes out to Jaqueline Griffiths and Dominic Quinn — both from PBR — for their hard work in bringing this event together and making it a big success.

We’re all looking forward to hosting another workshop later this year. Stay tuned for the dates!
